LEARNING EXPEDITION
The aim of the Learning Expedition is to use the skills and knowledge owned in the GLOBE program for the complex investigation of the nature in Kääriku.
All the participants will be divided into 10 expedition groups so that each group will include members of different delegations. Every group will have 2 guides (scientists, experts) who will help students and teachers to perform their tasks.
On Wednesday, 22 August, the expedition groups will have hike in 10 different routes (2.5 - 4.8 km), and make environmental measurements according to the GLOBE protocols. All group members will have different personal responsibilities, e.g. to work with GPS and maps, take water samples, describe a soil profile, be a photograph, perform biometry measurements, enter the data to the Internet etc.
